AppraisalPort Rules and Regulations

(effective July 29, 2005)

These are the current rules and regulations for FNC's AppraisalPort (sometimes referred to as "AP"). They govern your account along with your AP user agreement.

  1. AppraisalPort Support

    1. If you have questions about AppraisalPort, you may contact AP support at 1-888-963-3330.
    2. You may also ask questions by sending an e-mail to info@appraisalport.com.
    3. AP Support is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. ET to 8:00 p.m. ET.
    4. AP Support is not available on weekends or holidays. A list of the holidays and periods when AP Support is not available is listed on the AppraisalPort website.

  2. Invoices

    1. Invoices are delivered electronically each month on the 1st day of the month. Payment is due by the 15th of each month.
    2. Payments for all AppraisalPort amounts can be paid by credit card, debit card, or electronic check to AP. If you need help with the payment options, you may contact AP Support.
    3. Please make your payments on time. Late charges at the rate of 1.5% per month accrue on the amount of any invoice for which payment is not received within thirty days after the date of the invoice. Additionally, an administrative charge of $10.00 shall be imposed for any invoice for which payment is received more than sixty days after the date of the invoice.
    4. It is AppraisalPort's policy to suspend access to AppraisalPort and the delivery of information to any party who is past due in its obligations to AP.

  3. You may not copy or decompile, disassemble, decrypt or otherwise reverse engineer AP or any part thereof. AP may terminate your User Agreement and suspend access in the event of a breach of this provision.

  4. User Account

    1. Appraisal Port uses your e-mail as the official means of communication. You should be sure to provide AppraisalPort with your most up to date e-mail address and other contact information.
    2. You are responsible for all use (including any charges, liabilities or claims which arise) under your user name. You should notify AP immediately of any unauthorized use of your account of which you become aware.

  5. You must protect all confidential information received via AP using at least the same degree of care you use to protect your own proprietary and confidential information and materials of like importance, but in no event less care than a reasonably prudent business person would take in a like or similar situation.

  6. AppraisalPort is neither an agent of the individual or entity ordering an appraisal, other valuation service or other settlement services, nor an agent of the appraiser or other provider (whether an individual or entity) providing any such services. The relationship (including any agreements) between the individual (or entity) ordering the services and the appraiser (or other provider) providing the services is independent of AppraisalPort. Neither AppraisalPort nor FNC shall be liable for or obligated by or under any such relationships (or agreements) or any actions of any parties related thereto.

  7. AP can terminate your subscription and access to AppraisalPort at any time upon your breach of any provision of the User Agreement.

  8. These AP rules and regulations govern all AP accounts. They may be changed from time to time. Each new version will be posted on the AppraisalPort website and will be effective 30 days after it is posted.
